A New Hope
The optimismo website was a vehicle to expand knowlege of Javascript. The site is coded using the Sveltekit framework.
The site can be found at: https://optimismo.onrender.com/.
Note: as this is on render, the site takes 30 seconds to spin up.
"Someone asked me the other day if I was an optimist.
I said I hope so!"
The site is a copy of a tool created at mindhabits.com which is run by McGill University. The site presents a very basic game - simply identify
the smiling face among the frowning faces.
The idea is that this training will enourage you to see the positive amongst a sea of negative, thereby
encouraging a positive outlook. It's a neat idea, based on genuine scientific studies - it also provided a great vehicle to play with Svelte.
